Based on the 2012 CLDS survey data of Sun Yat-Sen University, the paper finds that the average education year among Chinese labor force is about nine years, accompanied with the problem of insufficient technical training. At the same time, only a few workers hold professional and technical qualification certificate. The regional mobility of labor force has exceeded 15% with significant age disparity. Among all respondents, more than 20% have changes on Hukou registration with significant gender differences. Among labor force, most of them are employed by others, followed by peasants, the self-employed, and employers. 9% are economically inactive population. The rate of signing labor contract is about 50%. Most workers have prolonged working hours, and many of them are violated in terms of their legitimate rights. Among respondents, many of them are not satisfied with their income, working environment, and other related indexes. Meeting their basic necessities is their primary request.
