2013 Chinese Residents' Quality of Life Survey shows: life quality has improved greatly in many aspects, such as price tolerance level, consumption confidence, and the anti-corruption confidence, which reflects the effectiveness of the new government's efforts and the positive social attitude in general. Problems relating to people's well-being, such as polarization between the rich and the poor, soaring price of housing and basic necessities, are the most important factors affecting residents' quality of life. Meanwhile, respondents show intensive concern over issues including old-age support, anti-corruption, social stability and social morality. Furthermore, respondents demonstrate low confidence over individuals' competition ability, while show great confidence over China's future and China's international status. <<
