中国与东盟通过构筑自贸区既提升了双边合作的制度化水平，又使双边关系中的相互依赖水平大大提升。以经济合作的这种特点为纽带的中国—东盟关系在过去十年中也表现出了积极的发展态势。2010年1月1日自贸区全面建成后，双边经济合作发展迅速，但在政治互信上却出现了一些问题。本文通过对一年来中国—东盟经济相互依赖和政治互信的评估发现，东盟方面存在着把经济合作与全面战略关系分离的倾向。这说明以经济利益为纽带的中国—东盟关系其实受到一些结构性因素的影响。但考虑到中国经济的崛起以及亚洲一体化发展的趋势，经济合作仍将是中国—东盟全面伙伴关系进一步发展的基础。
<<The economic cooperation between China and ASEAN has shaped an interdependent relationship between the two sides，while the bilateral FTA served as an institutional guarantee to its deepening. By retrospect the China-ASEAN FTA（CAFTA）construction in 2010，we found that China-ASEAN relations had encountered some challenges with the reemerging of the South China Sea issue，while the economic interdependence is deepening. This reminds us that with the rising of China，the economic interests bound bilateral relations are also affected by structural elements，and may fluctuate with the development of China general external relations.
