The U.S. is actively promoting and leading the development of the TPP with direct purposes for opening the Asia-Pacific market further,advancing U.S. export overseas,creating job opportunities domestically,and then reshaping the new world trade rules. The success of TPP will exert deep influences on the East Asian economic integration particularly,and on the trade architecture,strategic and security relations among the Asia-Pacific as a whole. The TPP will help the U.S. maintain its role of leadership in Asia-Pacific,and may exert some strategic pressure on China in short term.
