The thesis, from the micro perspective, selects 15 evaluation indicators and uses the latest survey data, makes comparative studies of individual employment quality in both the overall picture and different groups. The research results reveal that the overall employment quality still has room for improvement; there is no evident gender difference in employment quality; the interrelations between employment quality and age fluctuate in the stair shape, or rise, remain stable and rise again; people with different household registrations differ in employment quality; and the quality grows steady as the education level rises. The employment quality of state-owned employers is higher than that of non-state-owned employers. Besides, the difference is quite evident. The differences of employment quality in sectors and professions are smaller than those in employers of different ownership. Nevertheless, the influencing factors are similar. The above findings are of practical meaning for China to push forward reform in labor market and improve the quality of urbanization.
