The thesis, based on reviewing the history of minimum wage system and introducing its current situation in China, believes China has made major process in minimum wage system in recent years, which has robustly supported the higher-quality employment. At the same time, there is still room for improvement in the connotation composition of minimum wages, legislation level of minimum wage system, process of making and revising the system, security level and execution. It offers some proposals on how to address these problems or insufficiencies while predicting the future development of minimum wage system.
