In 2012, the population of migrant workers in China continued to grow. As Central China and West China adjusts economic structure and industrial structure, these regions are constantly improving their capacity to absorb migrant workers. In this way, the proportion of trans-provincial migrant workers in the total migrant worker population is falling down steadily. Though the salaries of migrant workers keep rising, and the problem of wage arrears are being alleviated constantly, there are still prominent problems such as aging migrant workers, not high working skills, low rate of signing labor contracts, low level of social security, and poor living conditions, which hinder the migrant workers' employment quality from progress. As a result, the thesis analyzes the causes of not high employment quality of migrant workers from such perspectives as the separation of employment market impacting on the fair employment of migrant workers, serious discrimination against migrant workers, migrant worker-employer labor relations, social security and attached problems of migrant workers' employment, which cannot be solved in a short period. Last but not least, it proposes solutions to these problems.
