This paper calculates the capacity utilization of China's industry for recent year. The results show that the overall capacity utilization is on a reasonable level of about 80%. But for some specific fields, such as the policy favoring regions and also the supporting industries always are corresponded with lower capacity utilization. It's been manifested that government's investment brings up both higher growth rate of GDP and also severe over-capacity of production. <<
