This paper collects and summarizes relevant data in the Statistical Communiqué on National Education Development，Educational Statistics Yearbook of China，Statistics Bulletin on the Implementation of National Education Funds and China Educational Finance Statistical Yearbook in 2020，and analyzes the construction of public educational institutions，the building of educator teams and the educational investment in China. Based on the data analysis，this paper proposes that China’s public educational institutions present three characteristics and trends of development：the continuous improvement of education popularization，the obvious growth of indicators in key areas of educational development，and the progressive optimization of educational structure.
