As the core exhibition area of the Yellow River Culture of the Chinese nation，Kaifeng is rich in cultural heritage，especially in the Song culture，the ancient capital culture，the city culture and the chrysanthemum culture，which can best reflect the peak of Chinese history and civilization. Under the current historical opportunity，Kaifeng City has strengthened its organizational leadership，highlighting its demonstration and leading role. Good plan and design are prioritized，followed by building cultural landmarks. The urban culture with Kaifeng’s characteristics has developed to a certain extent. But there are also some aspects to be further improved and enhanced. Suggestions are as follows：to improve the top-level planning，to coordinate the development layout，to attach importance to the investigation and research，to intensify research and development，to improve both the cultural taste and construction quality，to strengthen the publicity and display，to tell well the story of the Yellow River，and to promote the integration of cultural tourism and cultural industry.
