Vocational education is an important part of the system of national education and a basic project to cultivate high-quality skilled talents. In recent years，the development environment and reform direction of vocational education have profoundly changed，which causes great significance and far-reaching impact on the reform and development of vocational education in Henan. At present，Henan’s vocational education has made remarkable achievements in aspects of overall scale，system construction，school running level，and so forth. However，the problems are also very prominent，such as the imperfect system，unbalanced development，low vitality to the economy and cognitive bias of social value. It is a systematic project to deepen the reform and promote the high-quality development of vocational education. Henan should promote the comprehensive construction from the aspects of reshaping the new development concept，improving the system construction，optimizing the ecological environment and enriching the cultural connotation.
