It is of great practical significance to grasp the needs of migrant workers in new era and provide high quality services to migrant workers. Through an online questionnaire survey，this paper finds that migrant workers’ needs are mainly in the following five aspects：increasing employment income and improving employment stability，reducing constraints on returning rural area to start a business，improving the coverage of skill training，enhancing the protection of migrant workers’ rights and interests，and optimizing policies on children’s education and urban health services. At present，it is necessary to regard services for migrant workers as a strategic and systematic program，including improving employment services，further implementing policies of returning hometown to start businesses，constructing a demand-oriented diversified training system，enhancing social security and protection for rights and interests，promoting information construction and the construction of migrant workers’ organizations.
