Employment is the supreme livelihood as well as a powerful support for economic development. As a major agricultural province，Sichuan holds a great amount of rural labor force. The total amount and structure of the rural labor force have a profound impact on the development of agriculture and rural areas. The situation of rural labor force transfer and migrant workers’ employment is more complicated and changeable in the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Therefore，it is necessary to launch an in-depth analysis of the changing trend，identifying problems，and putting forward suggestions. By doing so，it will be of great help to further improve rural labor force transfer and migrant workers’ services guarantee，providing continuous and strong human resources support for the high-quality economic development and rural revitalization.
