In 2021，the global outbreak of coronavirus was erratic and the situation of its spread in European countries remains critical. During the long-term struggle with the virus，Central and Eastern European countries are becoming more and more mature in their experience in fighting the epidemic. While doing a good job in preventing and controlling the epidemic，the countries have focused on the key directions of cultural development and implemented cultural development plans，which have led to a positive recovery in the cultural sector. To promote the steady recovery of the cultural sector，CEE countries have clarified their own cultural development goals and focused on the key points of cultural development；they have made great progress in promoting the accessibility of cultural resources，accelerating the digital transformation of cultural modernization and strengthening the protection of cultural heritage. At the same time，the countries actively participate in the EU level and other bilateral and multilateral cultural cooperation，and continuously explore the potential of cooperation. The CEE countries have also opened a new chapter in their cultural exchanges with China，broadening the depth of cooperation and increasing investment in various cultural fields，with remarkable results.
