This chapter combs the current situation and trend of the development of China’s petrochemical equipment industry in 2018，studies and analyses the industrial scale、industrial structure、operation、technical level、import and export trade of China’s petrochemical equipment industry，as well as the main existing problems，and summarizes the development prospects and construction of China’s petrochemical equipment industry. The analysis shows that the assets scale of China’s petrochemical equipment industry has increased steadily in 2018，but the growth of added value of the whole industry has weakened. The economic indicators have performed well，and the overall profitability has been enhanced. Technological breakthroughs have been achieved in several sub-industries，and some core technological products have reached the world leading level. However，the overall level of industrial concentration and specialization is not high，and the localization of major petrochemical equipment is facing challenges. In the future，innovation should lead the development of the industry to actively promoted transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical equipment. Also，the petrochemical equipment industry should establish the concept of green development and strengthen international cooperation.
