The report first analyses the current situation and development trend of the international electrical equipment industry in 2018. Then the scale，operation status and industrial structure of China’s electrical equipment industry in 2018 are quantitatively analyzed. The results show that：in 2018，the growth rate slowed down and its operating capacity slightly decreased，which affected by the slowdown of global economic growth and the decline of China’s electricity investment. In recent years，with the further optimization of energy structure，new energy have become new growth points，and transmission and transformation equipment has broad market space. However，the core technology of some products still lags much behind the international study level. There are some problems in the development of the industry，such as the urgent need for transformation and upgrading. Therefore，the report recommends that the government，industry and enterprises work together to promote the development of the electrical equipment industry。
