In recent years，because of the energetic national support for the museum development，distinctive university museums have been built in Beijing relying on the development history，academic achievements and various cultural heritages of the universities. Through actively holding exhibitions and various social education activities，university museums give full play to the role of education function of university museums and gradually become the new activity center for teachers and students，new high-lights in the publicity campaigns，and new front for academic research in the universities. However，in the process of development，university museums are also restricted by funds，management，talents and some other aspects. Based on the research of university museum samples，the report summarizes the difficulties in the current development process and explores the lasting development mechanism to provide new possibilities for the long-term development of university museums.
