The historical role of fine traditional Chinese culture in opening up the new realm of sinicization and modernization of Marxism means that cultural workers and museum staff should undertake a new historical mission of more significance in studying，revealing and expounding the connotation of fine traditional Chinese culture. Its prominent feature is to “refine and display the spiritual mark and cultural essence of Chinese civilization” through historical cultural relics. Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC，the General Secretary Xi Jinping has carried out inspections in Beijing for 10 times and delivered important speeches on Beijing for 18 times. Beijing museums held large-scale joint exhibitions reflecting the theme of fine traditional culture to welcome and celebrate the 20th National Congress of the CPC. At the same time，through comprehensively studying the spirit of the 20th National Congress and deeply implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches on Beijing，we will focus on the important work of building “one axis-one city，two parks-three belts，one district-one center” to polish Beijing’s “golden card” of historical and cultural heritage and implement the key tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan for cultural institutions and museums. We will also create a new situation for the high-quality development of Beijing museum undertakings and cultural cause to achieve the grand goal of “promoting cultural confidence and self-improvement，and creating new brilliance of socialist culture”.
