China is the hometown of tea. As early as before the Tang Dynasty,tea produced in China was exported to all over the world by land and sea. It first reached Japan and Korea,and then India and Central Asia. During the Ming and Qing dynasties,it spread to the Arabian Peninsula. In the early 17th century,Chinese tea was exported to European countries,and many upper-class aristocrats developed the habit of drinking tea. Nowadays,many countries in Asia,Europe,Oceania,America and Africa have unique tea culture,and various tea exchange activities are increasingly rich. Tea has gradually developed from a simple drink to a cultural symbol.
