Based on the analysis of the policy background and development status of the voluntary service system and mechanism construction in the civil affairs field of Guangzhou，this paper systematically summarizes the existing team structure，activity content，guarantee support and supervision and management system construction of the voluntary service in the civil affairs field of Guangzhou，puts forward the problems existing in the voluntary service in the civil affairs field of Guangzhou. In order to further improve the voluntary service system and mechanism in the civil affairs field of Guangzhou. Some suggestions are put forward. In conclusion，this paper suggests that civil areas voluntary service is an important part of the voluntary service system with Chinese characteristics. In order to improve the voluntary service system in the civil affairs field of Guangzhou and promote the innovation of voluntary service mechanism in the civil affairs field，it is necessary to further establish and perfect the supply and demand matching system，the organization management system and the promotion and incentive system of voluntary service in the civil affairs field.
