At present，voluntary services have become an important service force of children’s welfare organizations. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the voluntary service of the Social Work Professional Service Project in Guangzhou Children’s Social Welfare Home，this paper puts forward the optimization suggestions on the deficiencies of the management and service system in the process of the professional service project for orphans and disabled children assisted by voluntary service：first of all，is to straighten out the direction of voluntary service by insisting on the leading position of the Communist Party of China in voluntary service；second，we need to accurately meet service needs，pay attention to system construction and planning，and enhance the integrity of voluntary services in children’s welfare organizations；third，improve the voluntary service system，increase and promote the benign development of the voluntary service system and volunteers to provide stable voluntary services；fourth，strengthen the construction of voluntary service training mechanism，improve the service quality of volunteers；fifth，increase the publicity of voluntary service and promote the parallel development of service and advocacy.
