In recent years，microblog on governmental affairs has become an important driving force and internal requirement to modernize national governance system and governance capacity. With increasingly more social discussion on topics such as eco-environmental protection，pollution prevention，green and low-carbon development，it has become one of the most important public opinion fields for discussing eco-environmental issues.

With the research object of the official government microblog of the eco-environmental system represented by @Ministry of Ecology and Environment and its official microblog of system matrix，this report explores its value and significance to eco-environmental protection from many aspects，such as account information release，construction of the ecological environment system matrix，characteristic service activities，and the communication value of new media of government affairs. The research found that @Ministry of Ecology and Environment and its system matrix official microblog have achieved remarkable results in policy and information release，political supervision，public opinion guidance，government services，etc. They have become the backbone of policy release，topic setting and public opinion guidance in construction of a beautiful China，eco-environment protection and pollution prevention，etc.
