How do college students view the lottery？It is of great significance to the healthy development of China’s lottery industry，the raising of lottery public welfare funds，and the development of public welfare charity in China. Through the content of 4188 “college students’ knowledge of the lottery”，this paper carefully analyzes the daily life habits of the surveyed groups，the purchase behavior of lottery tickets，the cognition of the public welfare of the lottery，and the development of the lottery industry，and finds that college students’ awareness of the public welfare of the lottery is relatively insufficient，and the development of the lottery industry tends to be relatively cautious. The article puts forward policy suggestions from three aspects：strengthening public welfare publicity，improving marketing strategies，and attaching importance to government supervision.
