With the continuous remarkable achievements of China’s reform and opening up，welfare lottery has gradually developed into an important bridge for social caring people to participate in public welfare and charities. The increasing amount of financing and the raising of lottery public welfare funds year by year provide a continuous source of financial power for the development of social security and public welfare and charities. This chapter discusses the role of China’s welfare lottery and lottery public welfare fund in the different development processes of social security，and provides some reference and ideas for promoting common prosperity.
