At present，given increasingly prominent environmental problems and acute contradiction between ecological protection and economic development，Green finance，as a financial policy tool，plays an important role in promoting the green transformation of China’s economy. Under the background of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” strategies，this paper taking the application of green finance in the Qilian Mountains National Park as the research objective，has analyzed the development history of green finance at home and abroad from the macro perspective of national development，discussed the experience of applying green finance policies in Gansu and Qinghai and took into account the actual development situation of the Qilian Mountains National Park，thus confirming that the green finance would have a very broad development prospect in the Qilian Mountains National Park. This paper put forward feasible suggestions in respect of establishing a sound green financial system，accelerating the construction of green finance market，and deepening the concept of green finance development，in order to provide a proven development idea for the application of green financial policies in the Qilian Mountains National Park.
