Significant progress has been made in the construction of the “City of Volunteers”. At present，there are more than 2 million registered volunteers in the city，more than 10000 voluntary service organizations，and 29 units and individuals have been rated as the “four 100” advanced models of national voluntary service. “Volunteering at hand” has gradually become Ningbo’s urban fashion，and it has become Ningbo’s practical experience in building a national civilized model city，building a demonstration area of common prosperity，striving to be an “important window” model city，and striving to create a socialist modernization first city.
