This report talks about my understanding of two CGTN’s classic cases in international communication that I was directly involved in. For frontline media workers in international communication,they must constantly emancipate their minds,work step by step,and continuously make innovations. Firstly,it is vital to improve their ability to set major issues based on news content. By seizing timeliness,delivering reports at the scene,releasing more original,exclusive,in-depth news that covers more aspects,they would convey China’s voice and publicize China’s perceptions. Secondly,it is necessary to fully grasp the law of development and the trend of the communication market,further promote the communication strategy of “mobile platform first,equal emphasis on the TV and the Internet,the Internet first and the TV second”,make good use of the international mainstream communication platforms,and improve the communication effect. In addition,CGTN should,by using media diplomacy as a means,continuously hold brand activities such as the “Global Action Initiative” with the focus of “a community with a shared future for mankind”,and cooperate with international authorities and figures such as the United Nations,the International Monetary Fund,and the World Bank to widen its social circle in international communication globally,so as to present a true,three-dimensional,and comprehensive China to the outer world.
