Service-oriented manufacturing is a new manufacturing mode and industrial form in which manufacturing and service are deeply integrated in the process of industrialization. It is an inevitable choice of high-quality development of industry. Wuxi is located in the south of Jiangsu Province，the Yangtze River Delta region with the most developed economy in China，with a strong industrial foundation and. and a complete industrial system. Since the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”，Wuxi has vigorously promoted the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries，and promoted the development of service-oriented manufacturing in an All-round Way. This paper aims to summarize the current situation，mode and experience of the development of service-oriented manufacturing in Wuxi in recent years，analyze the existing problems，and put forward the development ideas of service-oriented manufacturing in the next stage to provide strong support for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.
