Starting from the concept and development trend of gig economy，this report analyzes the characteristics of gig economy and the employment of the persons with disabilities，and points out that gig economy can solve the three major obstacles to the employment of the persons with disabilities to varying degrees，and there is a theoretical possibility to help the employment of disabled people. Then，in view of the difficulties and challenges that the persons with disabilities may face in participating in the gig economy employment，combined with relevant research and practice，this report puts forward some suggestions to help the persons with disabilities participate in the gig economy employment from four aspects：policy support orientation，employment rights and interests protection，employment environment construction and employment participation ability.
