Vocational skills competition for the persons with disabilities plays an important role in promoting the high-quality development of employment training for the persons with disabilities，improving the level of vocational skills of the persons with disabilities，and creating conditions for full employment and high-quality employment of the persons with disabilities. So far，nine international vocational skills competitions for the persons with disabilities have been held internationally，and six national vocational skills competitions for the persons with disabilities have been held in China. To carry out vocational skills competitions for the persons with disabilities，to provide a stage for the persons with disabilities to show their vocational skills and talents，to promote high-level vocational skills training for the persons with disabilities，and to guide the persons with disabilities to find jobs in a broader field，the development environment of employment training for th e disabled has been greatly improved. There are still some problems in the vocational skills competition for the persons with disabilities，such as the insufficient coverage of the training of skilled talents for the persons with disabilities，the insufficient leading role in promoting the employment of the persons with disabilities，and the need to improve the vocational skills competition system for the persons with disabilities. The mechanism of “integration competition” should be established to expand the channels of training skilled craftsmen for the persons with disabilities. We should further play the leading role of competition and establish a “two-wheel drive” talent training system for vocational education and vocational training. We should set up employment-oriented competition projects and give full play to the role of skills competition in employment. Improve the level of skills competition and enhance the supply capacity of high-skilled talents for the persons with disabilities.
