Since the beginning of the 21th century，during natural disasters the whole nation has come together，the people have made great efforts to help the disasters areas，and medical rehabilitation volunteers have made corresponding contributions，and also promoted the development of rehabilitation. With the development of medical rehabilitation technology and the deepening of voluntary service spirit，the medical rehabilitation voluntary service for the disabled are showing a trend of high-quality development trend. Currently，the difficulties faced by voluntary services for medical rehabilitation and assistance for the disabled include shortcomings in service content and methods，the need for optimization of long-term effective mechanisms for service systems，and the need to strengthen the allocation of service resources，and so on. This report proposes the following policy suggestions：to promote and innovate rich voluntary service projects for medical rehabilitation and assistance for the disabled，and to establish a coordinated development mechanism among the government，medical institutions，and social organizations.
