The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the world’s first universal and comprehensive document on human rights，which has had an important impact on the establishment and development of the contemporary international order. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The China Society for Human Rights Studies and the China Foundation for Human Rights Development jointly held a grand symposium，and Nankai University and Renmin University of China respectively hosted academic seminars. Scholars have actively and deeply discussed the formulation process，historical contribution，practical impact and Chinese elements of UDHR，and analyzed the relationship between UDHR and the community with a Shared future for mankind，China’s human rights path and the protection of specific rights.
