江苏省是最早在我国探索并建立立法与政策的性别平等咨询评估机制的省份，目前在全国范围内已成为较为成熟的实践典范，对国内其他省份建立立法与政策的性别平等评估机制具有积极的借鉴意义。然而，鉴于立法与政策的性别平等评估机制在我国建立得比较晚，即使是这一领域的先行省份同样处于摸索阶段，存在不少需要加强的方面。因此，本文通过对江苏省性别平等评估机制的现状、特点、面临的挑战、有待完善之处以及借鉴意义这些方面进行分析，为江苏省以及我国其他省份的性别平等评估机制的实践探索与完善提出理论支持与实践构想。
<<Jiangsu Province is the very first province，which has established the mechanism of gender impact assessment in legislation in China.Currently，Jiangsu has become a model province in this area and many other provinces are trying to learn from its successful experiences.However，due to the fact that the mechanism of gender impact assessment in legislation is quite new in China，many aspects are still need to be improved even in Jiangsu's mechanism.Therefore，this article focuses on the analysis of the practice of the mechanism of gender impact assessment in legislation in Jiangsu Province and to exam its advantages，disadvantages and challenges.Ultimately，this article will conclude with recommendations concerning the improvements for Jiangsu's mechanism and the suggestions for other provinces which are seeking to establish the same mechanism.
