The construction of accessible environment，as enacted in relevant new laws and institutions，has become a key path for persons with disabilities to equally claim judicial protection，remedy rights and realize justice. The court system has improved its accessibility and procedural accommodation，provided effective remedies to disability rights in diverse cases；the procuratorate system has enhanced public interest litigation to promote environmental accessibility through concerted efforts；the department of justice has strengthened the legal aid service with compliance to new barrier-free criteria；and the disabled persons’ federations have worked closely with the legal organs to ensure accessible supports and advocate on equal protection in all the stages of access to justice. In the 14th Five-Year Plan Period，the new legislation on accessible environment and further judicial reform shall keep advancing the equal protection of disability rights and ensuring justice for all persons with disabilities in each case.
