The livable environment is the basic condition for a healthy and active life and important premise for older persons to fully enjoy all human rights. In 2021，China has continued to promote the construction of livable environment for older persons. China has improved the relevant laws and regulations to ensure institutional guarantee. And a series of policies were created and many practical innovation was made to crossing the “Digital Gap”. The older persons with special difficulties and their families were paid much attention to demonstrate and promote the models. The report believes that the action plan for the construction of livable environment for older persons in the new era can be optimized from three aspects：further improving the institutional framework，integrating the concept of inter-generational inclusion and supporting the construction of a home environment for older persons.
