新冠肺炎疫情作为“国际关注的突发公共卫生事件”,已经深刻影响国计民生。信息具有“不确定性消除”的作用,新闻报道是公众获得信息的主渠道。做好新闻报道和舆论引导是治国理政、安国定邦的大事,也是舆情应对突发事件处置中的必要环节和内容。本文聚焦2022年5月的北京疫情,以“人民日报”官方微博为研究对象,针对媒体新闻报道如何影响公众情绪进行实证研究。研究发现,新闻框架及新闻报道的情绪基调是影响公众情绪的显著因素。政务新媒体的适当报道策略有助于平复公众情绪,助力疫情防控。
<<As a “public health emergency of international concern”,COVID-19 has had a profound impact on the national economy and the people’s livelihood. Information has the function of “eliminating uncertainty”,and news reports are the main channel for the public to obtain information. Doing a good job in news reporting and public opinion guidance is not only a major event in governance,national security and statehood,but also a necessary link and content in public opinion response to emergencies. This article focuses on the “Beijing epidemic” event in May 2022,and takes the official microblog of “people’s Daily” as the research object to conduct an empirical study on how media news reports affect public sentiment. The research finds that the news frame and the emotional tone of news reports are the significant factors that affect the public mood. Appropriate reporting strategies of new government media can help calm public sentiment and help prevent and control the epidemic.
