Renovating old neighborhoods，improving the living environment，and promoting the quality of life have become the focus of government work in recent years，and have also become an important part of community governance and community services. This paper takes the promotion of comprehensive renovation of old neighborhoods in community B of Tongzhou District as an example，and finds that by introducing professional social work agency，community social organizations can be nurtured，guided，cultivated and supported to participate in comprehensive community renovation practices，and carry out organizational construction and residents mobilization，policy publicity，plan co-determination，discussion and supervision，platform construction and other matters，effectively unifying residents’s demands，delivering policy effects，and accelerating the implementation of the renovation work smoothly and efficiently. This has produced the important value with reference significance in grass-roots social governance.
