The digital, networked, intelligent and mobile process of the cultural industry is accelerating, and the integration of culture and science is deepening. The Beijing section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal gives birth to and carries the unique canal culture, which is not only the carrier to understand the history of Beijing, but also an important window to understand the new Beijing. The construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt is one of the key works in the construction of the national cultural center in Beijing. Using the latest technological achievements, the Beijing section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is becoming "alive", "bright", "smooth" and "beautiful". However, there are still some problems in the application of new technologies, such as the construction of new infrastructure along the Grand Canal, the lack of deep integration of the cultural and scientific industry chain relying on the Grand Canal, the urgent need to improve the cultural connotation of scientific and technological scenes and products, and the lack of linkage of cultural and scientific resources in different reaches of the Grand Canal. It is necessary to promote the coordinated development of resources along the Grand Canal, strengthen the construction of new digital infrastructure driven by 5G technology, build a Grand Canal meta-universe scene demonstration zone, continue to promote the implementation of various cultural digital scenes along the Grand Canal, and speed up the issuance of digital collections along the Grand Canal.
