With the rapid development of China’s economy and society，the railway，as the artery of the national economy，an important national infrastructure，and a popular means of transportation，plays an increasingly important role in national economic and social development. As the leading force of innovation and development，the cultivation of high-level talents is of great significance to the realization of the 14th Five-Year Plan for China’s railway development，the long-term goal of 2035 and “the belt and road initiative”. This paper introduces the training practice of engineering masters in CARS，a railway high-level talent training base，and further probes into the innovation of the training mode for high-level talents.
