With the release of China’s Intelligent Vehicle Innovation and Development Strategy，China’s intelligent and connected vehicles have entered a golden period of rapid development. In terms of talent guarantee，the construction of R&D talent team for smart connected vehicles is an important grasp for China’s smart connected vehicles to achieve leapfrog development and become a global smart connected vehicle leader. By analyzing the demand for R&D talents in the intelligent and connected vehicles industry，the current situation of enterprise R&D talents and problems and challenges，this article proposes the path and methods for the construction of R&D talent team of intelligent and connected vehicles in the context of new automobiles by combining the exploration and practice cases of typical enterprises in the industry.
