China’s market supervision system was formed after the reform and opening up. This paper analyzes the stage characteristics of China’s market supervision reform about the market supervision system from three stages of exploring，forming and perfecting. According to the study，China’s market supervision presents three regular evolution directions：firstly，the reduction of direct government intervention；secondly，the continuous enhancement of government service function；thirdly，the increasingly important position of market supervision in economic development. At the same time，there are three concluding revelations in the reform of China’s market supervision system：firstly，economic development is the decisive factor in the reform of market supervision system；secondly，the service-oriented supervision system is the ultimate goal of China’s market supervision system reform；thirdly，market supervision departments will play an important role in promoting high-quality exhibition.
