Industrial policy plays an important role in promoting industrial development. This paper analyzes the problems existing in industrial policies for the elderly，such as the lack of medium-and long-term planning，the imperfect industrial policy system，the insufficient policy effect and the weak operability. This paper argues that several problems should be dealt with well in improving industrial policy，such as the relationship between long-term and short-term，the relationship between urban and rural areas，the relationship between supply and demand，and the problems between domestic and foreign markets. Finally，this paper puts forward some policy suggestions to improve the medium and long term development of China’s aging industry.
