At present，the social consensus and policy environment for the development of livable industry for the elderly are gradually formed，the development mechanism is gradually improved，the development model is being explored，and the industry organization is developing rapidly. However，it is still in the early stage of development，facing problems such as the urgent need to establish the concept of livable consumption for the elderly，the lagging development of relevant policies，insufficient market development，the lack of effective investment and financing mechanism，the industrial chain has not yet been formed，the relevant norms and standards are not perfect，the aging parts system is not perfect，the ability of risk prevention and control needs to be mature，and the intelligent development faces inadaptability. In order to promote the development of livable industries for the elderly，it is suggested to introduce major industrial policies，build major projects，optimize the institutional environment，increase policy support，open up the industrial chain，and enhance scientific and technological empowerment.
