The aging of population structure has a profound impact on the change of health concept and behavior，and then on the development direction and trend of health industry. Under the background of “actively responding to the aging population” and “healthy China” rising to the national strategic level，it is necessary to make clear how to plan the aging health industry in the medium and long term. Based on the definition，classification scope and industrial structure of the aged health industry，this paper lists the major needs of the aged health industry from 2021 to 2035. China’s aging health industry is still in its infancy. At present，there are still some problems，such as the lack of active health awareness of the whole people，unhealthy health concept，over-reliance on medical treatment，lagging construction of talents in aging health industry，imprecise supporting policies for aging health industry，insufficient endogenous motivation for industrial development，and urgent need for the development and support of traditional Chinese medicine. However，the policy dividend is constantly released，the demand for health in old age is strong，various health markets have great potential，all parties’ capital is actively pouring in，and new products，new formats，technological progress and consumption upgrades are constantly emerging. It is suggested that，on the basis of innovative ideas，in the promotion of major national health projects，we should improve the legalization of the aging health industry，standardize the market order，vigorously promote the construction of aging health disciplines，and increase the training and encouragement of talents. The aging health industry will become an important engine to promote the development of domestic demand and an important help to healthy aging society.
