COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the development of the sports industry in China and around the world. Sports authorities have actively applied various policy tools to support the development of the sports industry，and sports events，sports fitness，sports training，stadiums and other industries have taken diversified measures to reduce the losses caused by COVID-19. Based on the main measures taken by various subsectors to deal with the epidemic，it is concluded that the integration of sports and related industries will be closer，digitalization will become a new growth point for the development of sports industry，and the supervision level of sports market will be further improved. On this basis，the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to accelerate the recovery and development of China’s sports industry from four aspects：strengthening the guidance of sports science and technology innovation，speeding up the improvement of industrial policy support system，creating a new scene of sports consumption，and enriching the supply of sports events.
