The total economic output accounts for “half of the country” and is an important “growth pole” for China’s regional economic development. In 2021，the industrial economy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been steadily rising，steadily improving，industrial investment has achieved rapid growth，the economic benefits of industrial enterprises above designated size has been significantly improved，and the growth of industrial assets continues to expand. From the perspective of the development level of key industries，the computer，communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry has achieved rapid growth，the revenue of chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry has continued to decline，the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry has developed steadily，the production and sales of automobile manufacturing industry have significantly increased，and the output of new energy vehicles has doubled. 2022 is a key year for the implementation of the Fourteenth Five Year Plan. “Promoting the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt”，as a major measure to promote regional coordinated development，was highlighted in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt will speed up the cultivation and expansion of new drivers of development，actively promote digital industrialization and industrial digitalization，enhance the resilience and advantages of the industrial chain supply chain，improve the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry，and promote high-quality economic development.
