The cooperation between China and Russia in the Two River Regions is one of the important contents of the Belt and Road joint construction. Anhui participation in the Sino-Russian Two River Regions cooperation has a good social and economic foundation and realistic strategic cooperation opportunities. Since the Belt and Road initiative was proposed，Anhui has actively participated in the Sino-Russian Two River Regions cooperation and achieved significant results. Meanwhile，it also faces the challenges of economic containment by western countries led by the US and the continuous spread of the new Covid epidemic around the world. Under the accelerated construction of a new development pattern of domestic and international dual circulation，Anhui needs to plan ahead and implement precise policies on the basis of optimizing the cooperation mechanism and enhancing the ability of reform and opening up to promote the high-quality development of the Anhui-China-Russia Two River Regions cooperation.
