Health science popularization is an important measure to enhance national health literacy and promote the construction of a healthy China，and it is one of the most fundamental，economic and effective measures to improve the health level of the whole population. Health science policy is an important grip to promote the development of health science. This report mainly combs and summarizes the development and evolution of China’s health science popularization support policies after the 13th Five Year-Plan period，and points out that the health science popularization policies play an important role in the overall and key guidance of health science popularization，which establish the standards for health science popularization，mobilize health science popularization personnel，guarantee the professionalism of health science popularization personnel，and guarantee the continuous investment and financial support for science popularization infrastructure. At the same time，this report investigates and summarizes the implementation status of health science popularization in China in recent years，which is mainly reflected in health science popularization infrastructure，health science popularization personnel，health science popularization funds，health science popularization works and health science popularization activities. In addition，this report points out that China’s health science popularization still faces a series of problems，such as insufficient funding and less incentive policies，and gives corresponding suggestions.
