After 40 years of development，Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools has become a useful supplement and an important part of our country’s higher education. It played an important role in promoting the internationalization of China’s higher education，enhancing the international competitiveness of our universities，and satisfying the people’s needs about international high-quality education. With the rapid development of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools，there are still a series of problems. Policies are obviously instrumental. Long-term developing plans are insufficient. Quality supervision and response to problems are both weak. The geographical distribution is unbalanced，and the spatial distribution between the East and West is obviously uneven. The curriculum and the teaching systems present a phenomenon of “combination”，lacking mutual applicability. It is recommended to improve the policy，continuously optimize the spatial layout of the scale，introduce high-quality educational resources，better the curriculum system，and promote the ability of Chinese-foreign education to work efficiently and serve the overall situation.
