Jilin University-Lambton College（JULC）was established in 1999，which is the earliest “4+0” and “No Studying Abroad” Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run undergraduate education institution approved by the Ministry of Education. It is also the first domestic undergraduate university with a “one-to-many” model that completely introduces the North American higher education system. As a pioneer，practitioner，innovator，and reformer of Chinese-foreign cooperative education，insisting on rooting in China，integrating China and foreign countries，keeping the world in mind，and keeping up with the times，JULC introduced internationally advanced academic experience，education system，education mode，and education philosophy，followed the law of education and teaching，had foresight high-end international application-oriented positioning，created the “JULC Model” of integrated innovation and development of foreign high-quality educational resources，and embarked on a road of cooperation in running schools with Chinese characteristics，Chinese wisdom and Chinese temperament，has built an unique brand of “No Studying Abroad”. This article focuses on introducing JULC from the four aspects of college introduction，school-running characteristics，facing opportunities and challenges，and future prospects，also discussing the characteristics and experience of JULC over the past 20 years，and how to seize strategic opportunities to achieve long-term development.
